Blue Butterfly Pea Flowers are native to Thailand, Malaysia. The flowers have a high content of anthocyanin, a beneficial antioxidant thought to have anti-aging skin properties. The flowers have a nootropic effect and may trigger vivid dreams, enhanced memory and brain function. With the addition of lemon, lime or other ingredients that change the pH of the infusion, the brew will change from a deep blue to a bright purple. Get creative with tea blends, cocktail creations, or even blue rice.
