Quick Blackened Shrimp

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 lbs shrimp uncooked, peeled
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
  • 4 tbsp Cultivate Tea & Spice Blackened Seasoning 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Peel and wash shrimp.
  2. Toss shrimp with Blackened Seasoning to coat evenly.
  3. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high.  Arrange the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2 minutes.  Flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Garnish with cilantro and lime wedges (optional) and serve.

This shrimp can be served by itself, but is also great with mango salsa over rice, shrimp tacos, shrimp fajitas, or shrimp Po' Boys.

To grill:

Toss shrimp with seasoning and avocado oil.  Skewer shrimp or use grill basket.  Cook shrimp in a single layer for 2 minutes.  Flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
